Runnin' of the Green Preview Run II
The run will take place from the Schalmont Highschool parking lot, we will park in the far parking lot nearest to the track. There will be a 5k and a 10k route. Last week we discovered we can indeed run the 5k route exactly with a small detour onto a path. We will do it twice, returning to the start in the parking lot in between. All speeds welcome, if there is enough people we will form multiple groups. If not enough for multiple groups we will all run together. Nobody runs alone. We will also have much more light this time as the time has changed and now it is fairly light out until 7:00.
This run, being held on March 14th at 6:00 pm will take place apr. 40 hours before the actual race run on March 16th 2024. So that gives some time for recovery if needed, though not a lot of time.
