2020 VIRTUAL COLONIE MILE
Free to everyone! HMRRC member or non-member
To participate, run a mile between July 12th and August 9th on any "fair" course (less than 20 feet elevation drop, but if you want to go up-hill, that's fine with us).
Submit your results, a brief description of your course, and a link to GPS data. A link for GPS or strava data is preferred, but if you do not use GPS you can still participate. We may just ask some questions if you break 4 minutes.
We encourage to submit a photo of yourself running your mile. Click on this link to upload your photo:

If you submit but then run another mile on or before August 9th and improve your time, you can resubmit.
Watch HMRRC Facebook page. Leaderboard will be updated every few days on HMRRC Facebook page as results are received.

Waiver: I know that running a road/trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to compete in this event. I assume all the risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including hypothermia or frostbite, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, their officers, agents, and employees, and any of the above entities' sponsors, officials, representatives, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or organizations named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I also understand that the use of headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices during this race is strongly discouraged because the course is open and used by other runners, walkers, cyclists and vehicles making it important that I as a participant be aware of my surroundings.
