Waiver:
I know that volunteering at a road or trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I am physically able to perform the activities I have been, or will be assigned. I assume all the risks associated with volunteering at this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with participants, the effects of weather, including hypothermia or frostbite, traffic and the conditions of the road or trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, USA Track & Field, Inc., University at Albany, The People of the State of New York, the NYS Office of General Services, their officers, agents, and employees, and any of the above entities' sponsors, officials, representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or organizations named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
