40th Annual Town of New Scotland
7.1 M Road Race
Sunday, October 6, 2019 @ 10:00 a.m.
Race Location: Stephen P. Wallace Park (Town of New Scotland Park), 148 Swift Road, Voorheesville, NY 12086. Day of race registration at park garage begins at 9 a.m.
Course Description: Downhill start from the park on Swift Road toward Route 85. Up Bullock Road hills at mile 1. Right on Hurst and right on Clipp after 5K mark. Right on 85 for 1/4 mile, Left to go down Crow Ridge Road. Right on Route 85A.. Right to go up large hill on Swift Road at Elementary School. Finish thru trails in the park.

Awards: Top overall male and female. Top Town resident M/F and top M/F runner in 10 year age groups will receive pies. 2nd/3rd receive bread coupons.
Entry Cost Information: $10 Pre-registration or $8 HMRRC Member if postmarked by 10/1. $12 for all on day of race.

Light refreshments (apples, cider, donuts) from local apple orchards after the race.

Waiver: I know that running a road or trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to compete in this event. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all the risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including hypothermia or frostbite, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, USA Track & Field, Inc., the Town of New Scotland, their officers, agents and employees, and any of the above entities' sponsors, officials, representatives, and successors from all claims o liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of persons or organizations named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photograph, video recording, or any other record of the event for any legitimate purpose. Please note that race entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
